Fred Ehrsam is Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at Paradigm, and Co-Founder and CEO of Nudge, a neurotechnology company building non-invasive brain-computer interfaces. Fred co-founded Coinbase, the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, where he served as President from 2012 to 2017 and remains a board member. He serves on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Fred has been an early investor in OpenAI, Anthropic, Anduril, SpaceX, and other frontier technology companies. Prior to Coinbase, Fred was a foreign exchange trader at Goldman Sachs in New York. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.
